Once there were some dudes who got together and started playing grind music as a joke, eventually they took it serious and with the help of extensive touring and word of mouth they eventually landed a deal with Ferret Records (Every Time I Die, Chimaira, In Flames).

So the question for me is: Where do I start with this record? Foremost it’s phenomenal. It’s brutal and technical all at once making the listener think of such titans as Converge and the Dillinger Escape Plan. Although the influence can be heard from these bands, See You Next Tuesday delivers a unique twist all to their own. Parasite conjures up the images of pigs being slaughtered; sharks thrashing around bloody prey in icy waters; being a soldier on a bad acid trip in the middle of the Vietnam War and so on. It’s everything that isn’t music, and yet everything music should be.

With songs like “Honey, I Haven’t Had Sex That Wasn’t Awkward” “How to Survive a Vicious Cock Fight”, “Man-Dude vs. Dude-Brah (Where’s the Party At?)” and “A Portable Death Ray and a Sterile Claw Hammer” to keep your adrenaline running through your system at full force, there won’t be any reason to pull this album from your CD player any time soon. The album is fast, heavy, and pretty much beyond insane. And to top it all off, Parasite has some bizarre artwork to match. Do yourselves a favor and pick this up; for your sake and your children’s.
